Key equipment records for service and maintenance functions:

  • The Equipment record is a custom record that describes a specific serviceable machine or item, for Shepherd’s purposes.
  • System setup allows you to choose if Equipment records are created automatically or by an infleeting process. Infleeting enables automatic Equipment creation from Inventory item when Sales Order is fulfilled, or when Purchase Order is receipt.
  • Equipment can also be modeled manually by a technician in the Mobile App
  • Shepherd allows you to build up versatile rules and regimes for your PM services and maintenance activities
  • Equipment records can also be the object for rental
  • NetSuite Fixed Asset Management items can be linked to Equipment records.
