CFO Systems was founded in 2005 by Brett Frevert in Omaha, Nebraska. Frevert saw the need for providing high level financial leadership and wanted to help companies grow by providing hourly fractional interim services, on demand. In 2019, CFO Systems launched CFO Systems Search & Staffing (CFO S3), led by Steve Getzfrid, also in Omaha, NE.
As of last month, there are over 90 professionals on the team that team consists of CFO controllers, senior accountants, HR professionals, and procurement supply chain professionals. From an administration standpoint, CFO system does most of the back-office functions that most companies need. CFO Systems does not provide CPA services like audits or tax services.
CFO Systems focuses on growing the top line, maximizing the bottom line and enriching the storyline by providing the insight and information business leaders need to make decisions and move their businesses forward.
- Part One: Trusted Advisor RelationshipsTrusted advisors that refer CFO Systems to other businesses are bankers, lawyers, accountants, insurance brokers, consultants, strategic partners, and prior/current clients. We have a deep relationship with our ecosystem of advisors to utilize their expertise and deliver the best solutions to our clients. For example, if we find that a client is evaluating a NetSuite implementation (or ERP in general), but they need assistance or advice, Meridian Business is who we call to provide that high level expertise.We are not a firm that will only provide you with a recommendation of what you need to do. We will provide you with that recommendation and then follow it up with how we are going to get it done or how we are going to help you get it done.
